i don't use a turbo controller so i'll let others chime in there, but for what it's worth, the majority of pc runners use an auto-clicker instead. it gives you the added advantage of not turbo-ing through dialogue options where option #1 is incorrect/slower. advanced runners also use it to improve movement on certain screens by setting the auto clicker to a location that will send z to the right place.
the auto-clicker most of us use is available here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/orphamielautoclicker/
I don't run boosters much but turbo on PC is more natural since we tie in joy 2 key for the skips.
For console, I would recommend the Hori: https://www.amazon.com/Horipad-FPS-Plus-PS4/dp/B0106XFCPI If not this one, one that has true turbo, not auto-fire
you can set up turbo in steam settings as well, i find joy2key annoying tbh. steam controller mapping works great
but i didnt realize they tied skips into joy2key
You can do the skips manually with auto fire and other ways, J2K is just the most popular.
