are there any major glitches/skips for dkcr?? theres a lack of shortcuts that seem to be present in the other games, is that due to lack of active tassers or players, or is it just that well made?

This game is relatively free of glitches but there are some pretty big sequence breaks. The reason there aren't any that save more than 30 seconds or so is because it's a 2D platformer which limits the possibilities for what you can skip. Check out the IL world records if you want to see them all.
