I'm looking to restart to speedrun this game, and as I don't know if I will do NG or NG+, I'm looking some videos to have an advice.

Off course, I started bye the NG WR video and I have a few questions about it :

1. Can we use Destiny Item Manager during the run ? It's an external tool, I was really suprised to see it been used in a speedrun !
2. At 33:50 in the video, he bought a sword in the inventory. This buy can be done only if the sword was looted in a previous game. Does it fit to the NG rules ? I mean, if we really start a run with a new profile, this buy cannot be done !
3. Juste after, in the video, he stayed in orbit for more than 2 minutes, without doing anything in the game. Does it fit to the rules ? I specially think about this setence in the genenrals rules : "Speedrunning is the act of playing a video game with the intent of completing it as fast as possible. Runs will be rejected if this intent is not present, at moderator discretion. "

To start off, there are no more NG categories that can be speedran on destiny for SRC, so everything is NG+.

1. DIM can be used during runs. Since only NG+ categories are available, you don't have to show your DIM on screen whereas you did have to show your DIM in NG.
2. By that point in the video, I had gathered and dismantled enough blue weapons to have enough gunsmith materials to buy the sword from collections, so that was allowed. But since NG is no longer available to be speed ran, this information is irrelevant.
3. Staying in orbit for an extra amount of time during a full-game run, if anything, would be abuse of timer pause, but that amount of extra time can be up the discretion of the verifier. Since the whole run was a ~2hr video, a 2mn pause after a mission would be unlikely to cause the entire run to be rejected. Say if there was a 15-20 minute pause after a mission, then that may be up for discussion whether that is abuse or not.
