I got a bit unlucky with certain items. I never found a single de-curse scroll and I only managed to find small handful of eggs, however hatching the Picket and fusing it with my Grinuet was the ideal solution. Being stuck with a cursed Scarlet Wand and having a familiar with essentially infinite MP was the deciding factor along with the 2 elemental shield I found along the way.
