What specifically is not working? Like exactly what step have you gotten to where something's gone wrong? The more information you give us upfront, the easier it will be for us to help you and the faster you'll get answers.
Aside from just installing the program entirely incorrectly the only thing you could've done wrong for the thing to not work at all is set the save file path wrong, so double check that. Where the save files are stored depends on the version you have, you can find it on PCGamingWiki or pinned in the Discord server.
