I rewatched the old records and i noticed that the strategy of buying the t2 gear on market for tutorial% is no longer viable for world record since the prices on market have litterally doubled, in the current WR he buys the bow at 65 silver but at the moment the bow sells for 128 silver. it is not random since the items arent player made buy system sell orders. this makes it not viable to farm silver for the bow thus the times are unbeatable.
I think it would be justified to make a category for older patches and have the main category only for the recent patch
I agree, there should be a new category. The current wr used 137 silver to purchase a full set, but to purchase that today would cost 256 silver, which cannot be farmed without wasting time killing more mobs than is necessary for the quest.
Given the new strategies that were found (chest in the snow area) the old records were beatable.

Hey, the run was recorded on the test server. I have decided to not pour time into doing it on the live server, since on most of my runs I have run into mobs being killed etc. I have also asked the mods if I can do the run on the test server beforehand, since it's more fair (You can't ask a friend to keep killing foxes and count on you zoning into The Forest where you could skin it without fighting it for example) and allowed for a quicker speedrun overall, since I have focused on improving instead of my runs dying to player RNG out of my control. I didn't really want to play at 4-5am when the live server would have the lowest amount of people online. Long story short, they agreed and then I did the WR. We could probably use a change of rules on that topic actually :P
