I was trying to figure out how to setup the livesplit to start at the appropriate time. How would I go about doing that? I would like to attempt some speedruns of this game. This is the first time I will be officially doing any speedruns for anything so I am just trying to iron out the kinks. Thanks in advance!

If you right click on Livesplit > Settings, you can set your Start and Reset keys, and I think you also have to check "Global Hotkeys". Then, when you click "New Game" in game, you can just hit your Start key at the same time.

Also, we added some rules very recently to keep in mind, which are 1) the game's framerate must be 165 fps or lower, and 2) you must show FPS in your recording. In Steam settings > In Game, make sure "In-game FPS counter" is not "Off", and in OBS, when doing a game capture, make sure "Capture third-party overlays (such as steam)" is checked.
