So it turned out that the 2P version of this game is actually Endless, and we played for a lot longer than was needed before we came to this realization. It starts to repeat after 26 stages allegedly, so thats where we are going to consider the end. Bomb Jack is apparently a wider series on a lot of other platforms too, but this is the only 2P game.
