For long term play, could we possibly have a category for New Game Plus, maybe max level and all burdens to see how fast people can do with everything.
If we did this, we would have to create a save-file in 'resources' that has everything maxed out, which will take a very long time (thanks to soul-shop upgrades, it takes somewhere around NG+70 to actually have everything, and then you have to max out mastery levels, charon donations, and the other small things people may forget about). While I'm not opposed to it, we'd have to get some assistance acquiring the file, and we'd have to know that there's enough interest to actually support the category (not everyone wants to download another person's file, and it's unlikely people would be willing to grind all the way to that point). Update: I have confirmed that we can get a file of that kind, but the question of interest still remains.
Instead of completing everything maybe long term play that includes new game plus could be true ending
Some people (at least me and I believe some others too) are looking at how to do a TE run, so going to NG+7 and defeating all Prime Bosses (and whatever is also needed for that ending). I'm not really routing it very actively, nor seeing much of it yet, but I'm certain we will have a TE category some day
I've been itching to run RL2, but don't really like the fresh save due to the limited mobility and slow fights, so I'd be much more interested in a maxed out TE or all burdens run. You do not need all burdens for TE, not even close. I'm not sure which one would be more fun to run. Some of the burdens are a little tedious and slow (cannonballs in Axis Mundi, I'm looking at you...), so how about an All Prime Bosses category (including Jonah and Cain), with other burdens up to the runner?
