If you're not sure how to view your FPS, go to the in-game options menu or press the F1 hotkey to toggle it on.

If your FPS is not 60, please consult the following methods to possibly fix the issue. If the issue persists, try contacting the discord. 62.5 FPS is fairly common but still improper and not accepted for run submissions. Runs with near constant 60.5 FPS aren't proper either and should be addressed if possible.

Wait VSync and Monitor Refresh Rate

Go to the in-game options menu and try changing Wait VSync.

Check if your monitor's refresh rate can be adjusted. For Windows 10,

1. Open [Start Menu]
2. Open [Settings] (gear icon)
3. Select [System]
4. Select [Display]
5. Select [Advanced display settings] at the bottom
6. Select [Display adapter properties for Display (#)]
7. Click [Monitor] tab
8. Select [60 Hertz] from the "Screen refresh rate" dropdown menu.
9. Click [OK] or [Apply] (Screen will flash black momentarily after this to change rate)
10. Click [Keep Changes] from the resulting prompt.

Be sure to try RivaTuner with different versions of the game, including Steam and non-Steam versions.
