It is a known thing for a lot of capcom games...RE6 and Rev 2 uses this for a lot of stuff to skip animations etc. Very helpful for people to know!
Is having the rocket launcher in your inventory even allowed for it to be in the leaderboards then?
can someone confirm if this is still possible since the patch, I've tried it about 20 times in a row now without being able to get it.
i dont know what im doing wrong. I tried like 40 times and couldnt get it, so I downloaded the launch version and tried it on there about 30 times and came to the conclusion im just trash. can someone tell me wtf i am doing wrong? It doesnt matter if i fire the rocket right away or wait as long as i can, I'll shoot the rocket and then immediately call marvin, it's really pissing me off.
OKAY so it seems borderless window mode with vsync off and frames capped at 120 and it doesnt work, but with vsync on at 60hz it does work. So i tried Fullscreen mode, vsync off 120fps cap and the skip works. I tested borderless again just to be sure and it wont work in borderless without vsync enabled (in my case 60hz, maybe it just doesnt like borderless at high fps.)
ok then i go back to the current version and it doesn't work. looks like im not running ng+
It works right after the cutscene and you're at the bottom of the stairs. As soon you gain control aim at the ground and fire. Then grab the bolt cutters and on.
yeah im an idiot, if you try to run as soon as you fire the rocket you still get marvin, you have to stand still for a sec.
Are you on Leon or Claire? If you're on Claire there is a specific time to do it you cant just go and fire the rocket like you can with Leon. You have to shoot and wait about a full 2 seconds to do it with Claire. I found the skip (playing as Leon) and it is pretty difficult with Claire, it took me a few trys to get it down with her.
