100% route and useful notes
Updated 4 years ago by Peanut

Note: for all trespasser puzzles that open doors that lead to Gold Bolts and RYNO cards, make sure you are on easy difficulty otherwise you will not be able to AutoHack to skip them.

MOST UP TO DATE ROUTE IS DONE ON LATEST PATCH (1.07); WEAPON GLITCH DOES NOT WORK ON UNPATCHED/1.00.

Route is as follows:

Veldin day: Same as AGB.

Veldin night: Same as AGB. Get early gold bolt before opening garage.

Novalis: Same as AGB.

Kerwan: Same as AGB up until getting the helipack; glide over to ledge on other side, getting raritanium on the way, and get the RYNO card early with the usual method. Difficulty switch after the RYNO card to spawn back near the Robo-Shack and continue with the level. Since you got the RYNO card before the end of the stage, taking the taxi is unnecessary and you can go straight to your ship after training course.

Aridia: Get the first gold bolt and KILL ALL THE SAND SHARKS, OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT GET THE HOVERBOARD! After killing the sand sharks, it's the same route as AGB.

Rilgar: Same as AGB, however do the trespasser puzzle and get the RYNO card. Use newest Rilgar strat (swingshot under the water) as the other method you may know is patched on 1.07. Do the hoverboard races now to get the RYNO card; you can skip getting the gold bolt on the track "manually" as you get it during the races.

Nebula G34: Go to the main path and not the optional one. RYNO card behind trespasser puzzle at the end of the hallway. In the big enemy room, follow the AGB route as normal. You'll get fast mode here, turn it on and leave it on for the rest of the game.

Gaspar: AGB route, only difference is get the RYNO card behind the building, before the telepathopus and the two lava platforms. Don't worry about brains; you'll get all of them in NG+ when you have the map-o-matic.

Batalia: RYNO card behind trespasser puzzle under first gold bolt. Rest is the same as AGB. 1.07 patches the blue screen so you must do "snowman skip" to get to the starwatch defense cannon, and you MUST RIDE THE RAIL TO GET THE POKITARU INFOBOT NORMALLY.

Poki: Same as AGB.

Quartu: same route as AGB up until you get the jetpack; get the two gold bolts in the room and the RYNO card before getting the third bolt and finishing the level.

Victor fight: Hope for the best; tractor beam skip in NG is finnicky and difficult, though thankfully does not waste a ton of time if missed.

Phoenix: Do as you would normally, but you can't get bounced twice OoB otherwise you'll die since you don't have invincibility yet.

Deplanetizer 1: Same route as AGB to get the coords to Kalebo III. Get the RYNO card on the final room before leaving.

Kalebo III: Similar to AGB, do the grindrail first but DO NOT diff switch after the gold bolt; get all the way to the end, grab the map-o-matic and take a taxi back to the main path. after that, it's the same route. Do all three hoverboard cups for the RYNO card.

Rilgar 2: Get the RYNO and leave. If the checkpoint is at the hoverboard lady instead of your ship, take a taxi back or drop down, and proceed back to your ship. The hoverboard lady checkpoint is only triggered if you approach her area; take a taxi straight to the RYNO guy from the start if it is there (must have used this taxi earlier in Rilgar 1 or it won't show up).

Deplanetizer 2: Teleporter to Qwark, then kill Nefarious. Your RYNO should level up to either level 4 or 5 during these two fights.

Mash Circle to instantly skip the credits; this only works if your game is in a language other than English.

Veldin NG+: Do the skip to Veldin at Night; you should have every weapon in the game at level 5 if you are on the latest patch, including weapons you have never purchased or obtained (the RYNO is an exception to this, it must be collected normally). Turn infinite ammo on. Proceed through the stage as normal.

Novalis NG+: Get out of bounds and grind on the respawning dropship until you have everything: 5+ million bolts, about 300ish raritanium, and most holocards. Turn in all holocard duplicates at once and see how many you're missing.

After grinding, buy everything you can except for the Sheepinator; you'll get that during Kerwan.

Kerwan and Aridia NG+: Buy the Sheepinator as early as possible and max it out with Raritanium. Do everything the same as NG+ but sheepinate every enemy. The helicopters in Kerwan's train chase give massive amounts of EXP, and the Sheepinator is the only weapon that levels up on kill instead of damage, thus making it necessary to kill everything with it.

Rilgar: Do the NG+ route but take the elevator to the right instead of jumping off the scaffolding like NG+. Prepare to grind. Max out the following weapons with Raritanium to the maximum possible:

Groovitron Protoclast

Throw a groovitron and a protoclast in the middle of the first mob of robots, then the same for the second one. Sheepinate the tank. Do this until you have LV.10 GROOVIBOMB, PROTOCLAST. Get your SHEEPINATOR to Level 8 or 9 as well, depending on how much EXP you think you might need for V10.

From there, backtrack to the normal NG+ path and get the trespasser. At some mid-term before the end of the game, max out everything with Raritanium. Nothing changes except the segment you choose to do it on since it takes a little while.

Nebula G34 NG+: Perform the NG+ route as normal, sheepinate the Snagglebeast. You do not need to do the warship as the Raptor Launcher is already in your inventory. The Clank space section is also not required; you'll see why on the Phoenix.

Gaspar NG+: Jetpack before grindboots. Use your sheepinator everywhere until it gets to V10, including the telepathopuses. Use the RYNO on the rest once you have a maxed out Sheepinator. Your map-o-matic is your friend, use it to find all the brains. There are 80 brains total, get them all before handing them in for the guy. For the brain route, check the current 100% runs, it's best to do it in a circular motion around the map and have the last 3 brains be the last ones you would normally get in AGB. Get grindboots as usual. When you get all of them, DON'T FORGET THE BOX BREAKER THAT IS LEFT BEHIND BY THE GUY. KILL YOURSELF AFTER GETTING ALL BRAINS/THE GUY'S CHECKPOINT TO RELOAD THE LEVEL AND PREVENT ANY POSSIBLE GAME CRASHES.

Batalia NG+: Same as NG+.

Quartu NG+: It's time to grind the rest of your weapons to V10 before finishing the game.

Watch the WR video to know where the switch is to hit from OoB; this triggers the Mama Zurkon fight. Use your groovitron EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU USE ANY WEAPON ON HER. Since your groovitron is maxed out with raritanium, enemies take more damage while dancing! This is handy because weapon EXP in this game is based on damage and not on kill, unlike every single other Ratchet game.

Don't be afraid to double check EVERYTHING, because optimally YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY MORE GRINDING SPOTS FOR ANY WEAPON AFTER YOU LEAVE QUARTU.

BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL THAT MAMA ZURKON DOES NOT DIE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE: DIFFICULTY SWITCH TO RESET THE CHECKPOINT AS SOON AS HER DEATH ANIMATION BEGINS. If her death animation goes on for too long and she explodes, a checkpoint will be set and you will not be able to fight her again; be absolutely sure that this does not happen as the only alternate grinding spot after this is the tank room in the Deplanetizer, which is a significant detour.

Double check your holocards and make sure you have all of them. Double check your ARSENAL to make sure everything is at V10 before killing her. You should obviously have 200 HP by this point.

Phoenix NG+: Same as NG+. The new glitch makes it so Clank is only used twice in the run, both times here at the Phoenix. You should know this but the Phoenix being your first Clank section in a playthrough gives you the Gadgebot chip without having picked it up.

Deplanetizer: do DP1>2 skip same as in the NG+ category. Timing ends when the screen fades to black after killing Nefarious.

It is recommended to end your run's VOD with starting an NG+ file after the run to confirm everything is as it should be; this significantly speeds up the verification process. Happy running!
