Hey!

I love this game, and love running it. Could I be a mod? I'd like to add a few categories, and I'm relatively new to speedrunning, so I'd love a board to mod and get the hang of it. Let me know!

I added Wortris on it's various platforms, and would like to retain consistency for the boards; what new categories are you interested in seeing?

Oh, no worries! I was thinking about a category for actually beating the game. Since there's only a 'Level A-I' category, I thought that would be cool. Or a '50 Word' category.

What do you mean by beat the game? When you complete level J, the next level is J again, basically. There's no ending that I know of? In retrospect, A-J probably would have made more sense, but since there already runs up for A-I, particularly on the SNES version of the game, I'm not going to change the rules on all those runs people have already.

I'm not necessarily against adding additional word categories in the future, but it's sort of bland to just double the number of words; it doesn't really change the run in anyway. But yea, this game isn't really popular enough yet to need more categories or mods. However, you should definitely try the SNES version if you want some more competition. Otherwise, I'll see if I can beat you GB times when I get a moment.
