Splitting the Spider Solitaire Hints category into PC and Mobile.

United States

When Yeventry made his post on doing an IRL solitaire category it got me thinking on other possible runs then I thought of a Low% category were you have to make the fewest moves possible. I realise that this would be a laborious run to verify as you would have to count the moves to make sure they were not cheating however I just wanted to put it on the table.

I think a Low% would basically be the same as our current Any% since the fastest runs usually make the least amount of moves

@MattG Just adding a category is not easy. We have to think what rules shloud be applied, and how the timing would look like.

I think that it should be split into draw 1 and draw 3, timing should start when you start a timer, and end when your hand places the last card, and you cannot modify cards in any way. Besides that, it is just normal solitaire. You also have to record the entire solitaire game, with your camera never being turned off. During the run, or between shuffling and the run. I just don't know what rules should be in place for shuffling, but it should be a significant amount of shuffling, and you have to record yourself shuffling.

I think that a run should look something like this:

So does anyone agree or disagree with my ideas, or think that any other rules should be implemented?

This is more for the Multiple Windows Games area but I'd love to see some kind of category involving all of the Microsoft Solitaire Collection games. Broken up into Easy/Medium/Hard/Expert categories. Maybe one game of each game to start?
