Ah hi thank you for the suggestion when i made this leaderboard i didnt do much with it because nobody ran it. Turbo is a selection when you pick your character you could have done that from the start. Unless you want normal and turbo to be separate than i could do that to.
Just tell me what you want.
I guess the rules should be timer starts soon as that menu for normal and turbo goes away, and timer stops on the final hit I guess, standard settings for the game.
Hey FYI, I corrected some capitalization in the Turbo section and added Turbo 6 as a category as the Darkstalkers Resurrection bundle actually allows Normal and Turbos 1 - 6 on this one, bizarrely enough.
Also, is there any reason why runs of this start on mode select? It seems inconsistent with the rest of the games as all the D3 runs start on character select or last input on the select screen, there's not really a mechanical reason for it, and some of the approved runs don't even start in the right place or have the options select on. Maybe everything should start on last input on the select screen, that way, it supports those who hard code the settings in the program menus.
I'd volunteer to retime what's currently up if we want to change it, but in the grand scheme of things it saves like 1-4 seconds, so it doesn't matter much.
I just set those as the rules because we didn't have any set up when I did my run, so I just did that so it was easier to time
I'll wait till there's a need for the retime I guess. It doesn't change any of the current standings yet.
As it is now though, I guess last input in on the selection screen is the standard due to @Ciccioimberlicchio 's run. >shrug<
I have a question why did you put Turbo 2 ? I can seem to switch turbo settings on the test menu by checking the configuration settings ?
If I'm understanding the question correctly, the Turbo settings should be attached to the ability to toggle free select in this one if memory serves. Some of the arcade perfect releases like the PS3 and PS2 collections have the ability to set Turbo higher than a real arcade cab or MAME/FBA based emulator has options for. Since they're technically still arcade perfect, the option was added to the board.
@Krayzar So then Turbo settings is only allowed on PS3/X360 and PS2 collection only right ? Because i don't see you can't switch Turbo settings on MAME/FBA which i check on the test menu before. But it seems to me free select only plays normal and turbo 1 if i'm correct its might be true ?
Yes, just double checked. Only the PS3/X360 and PS2 should be able to access them. It's likely why no one plays them.
