Mod note: There are some frame skips that appear to potentially be splices at first glance. Asked runner to submit original footage which she did within 3 minutes of me requesting it. Original footage included similar frame skips in parts that were not part of the submitted run and frame skips of the original footage match those in this submitted footage. Analysis of the audio appear to not show any splicing. Due to the quick nature of the original footage being given upon request, it seems highly unlikely that if this were a splice that the runner would have had the time to edit the original footage to have frame skips outside of the submitted footage. Runner has a long history of submitting runs in this game with no reason to be suspicious, as well as a record of submitting runs in other games without issue. Due to this there is no reason to conclude that this run is spliced at this time. However, if future issues are found with runs from this runner going forward, it is the recommendation of this moderator that this run be one of the first to be investigated again due to the choppy nature of this footage.
There needs to be a bit of a delay between the two inputs. If they are input too fast, you don't go very far. If you give a slight delay though, you allow six to get far enough through the grab that the second input gives her a huge slide. When you do the second input too early, the part of the grab animation being canceled is different and the result is the shorter slide like what is seen in your video. I recommend watching the world record by Sai. He uses input capture so you can see the exact timing between the two inputs. If you need more help there is a great community on the discord who can help even more than I. Best of luck practicing the zip : )
30fps by itself should be fine. Minimum is 20, though most if not all runs have short moments of dipping below that as this game has unavoidable lag in some places. Some tricks require 30 fps or become exponentially easier on it. The audio issues are more likely the reason.
The frame minimum is in place because there are certain skips which are only possible by using a lag switch on your game.
The guide that lists the glitches and exploits below the any% guide on that page has accurate up to date info on how to perform sleep paralysis. I believe that the any% guide is no longer being updated by the creators.
You can find info on how to perform the sleep paralysis strat here:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BR5gd00za1ckZpZg-r7kqYgELEmyt5atf8hUgpCpgEY/edit
This also includes other glitches that have been found since the any% guide was last updated such as cutscene skips, nap skip, and CATjam skip. I would use the doc provided above as the true route document for now.
It is possible to clip into through the TV using the bed and do the first part but nobody has been able to do the second part where you load sewers and drop in because the speed you get pulled is based on fps. At 30, you have more control and can actually fight against the force pulling you. At 60 it pulls you too hard.
This run is submitted to the wrong category. It is an individual level run, but was submitted as a full game run. Due to this run not being a full game run of Q.U.B.E. Directors Cut, it is rejected.
Please resubmit run to the individual level leaderboard titled "Level: Against the Qlock: Plans for Fans". It will be approved under that leaderboard category. You can find this individual level leaderboard at the link below:
