Oh you are very lucky that you post this around a time i check this site. The last time must be months ago. Anyway, weird that that link doesn't work, it is still listed in the server settings. Here a new link: https://discord.gg/AWCREq76Kr
Not bad, that will be hard to beat.
Now I moderate 4 Paradox Games though, try beating that :)
I would like to request the removal of @Karloman314 from Super Moderator status for https://www.speedrun.com/ck2 . He has not been logged in to this site for over a full year and has no social media linked on his profile, so there is no good way of contacting him.
Moderators from various Paradox speedrunning leaderboards have gone together to create a common discord server for all Paradox speedrunning. It's part of an effort to create a more interconnected community between games, so feel free to join in on that server if you want: https://discord.gg/R6cqEYtsTW
We've also made a new subreddit for a similar purpose, so if you use Reddit then maybe consider checking that out also: https://www.reddit.com/r/ParadoxSpeedruns/
I think when I did it was around 10 years :D (with kidnapping). But yes I can add it. Btw we have a discord if you use that: https://discord.com/invite/ukkWwBX
Hello everyone, I'm _frms and I'm a moderator of CK3. I've been added as a moderator to this game and plan to standardize the rules to be more similar to CK3. Don't worry though, not much will change. The main thing will be a IGT (ingame time) and RTA (real time) split, with IGT as the main one. If you have other suggestions feel free to write them to me, either here on the discord.
Speaking of discord, I've made the CK3 speedrunning discord into a Crusader Kings speedrunning discord with a few CK2 channels, so feel free to join that: https://discord.com/ukkWwBX
My first idea was yours as well, but it's at least possible to get enough counts to accept vassalization as a designed duke of Munster with the faith bonuses and virtues without needing a large military, so that would have the same strategy as any%. https://ibb.co/cgpnPcg (Here a screen to show it.
We can try a no ruler designer, I'm a bit scared a similar broken strat can be found without ruler designer (probably not in 1066 but in 867 it's pretty likely imo with all the tribes around).
With the new strategy developments, that pushed the "King of Ireland" record down to 21 days (and maybe even lower) I think the category got less interesting to run since you don't really need to play the game anymore (even though it's crazy that this time is possible). Of course they should stay on the boards, but I'd suggest splitting the category into something like any% and one of two possibilities:
- no ruler designer
- original irish ruler (maybe called "The Emerald Isle") so no ruler designer and you'd have to start in Ireland I'd probably prefer the second option, but am open for discussion. What are your opinions on this?
Yes! I've added this to the rules today. You're allowed to use the ruler designer (with the maximum of 400 points of course)
