I've posted about this in the Discord server, but I thought I would post here to gather some more opinions. I think having an IL board for the final length would be reasonable, since it is the only length that gives you the precise time afterwards.
More reasons:
- It would let everyone see how the top players approach Length 5 when nerves are not an issue.
- Plus it would make Length 5 practice more interesting, since you could potentially get a PB in something other than the full game.
- Lastly, it might increase the number of active players on the site, which is always helpful for the game's popularity.
What are your thoughts on this?
while we're on this subject... https://www.speedrun.com/seterra/run/zg2g3nvy is 1:47:57, not 1:48:57 hehehe
Yes, go to https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13MFZIDMOYfO-93KNMP11d1AhKdg-SYCtSXJBf5BMGBc/edit#gid=1931669778.
Then find the section called "2023 (PRESENT)" and locate whatever 100% category you want to check.
Above each category column is a letter. Click on the dropdown menu by that letter and then select "Sort sheet Z to A" and all the quizzes on the left will be organized based on that particular 100% category.
Of course! But it's an interesting challenge still
Before the end of the year, if we hit 125 Website Pin runs on the following quizzes:
https://www.speedrun.com/seterra/level/Australia_Surrounding_Countries https://www.speedrun.com/seterra/level/Australia_States_and_Territories https://www.speedrun.com/seterra/level/The_Solar_System_Planets
then I will submit a Pin run in every single IL map in this game. Yes, even the one with 400 elements. I will complete all the IL's in alphabetical order, so you easily see the progress.
I'd love to see more community challenges like this, so I'm really curious to see how this goes. And if nobody sees this, then it was still worth a try.
Far too many, I think. Individual episode leaderboards would be more reasonable, but still too many.
end of description was supposed to say (3, versus 8 ). dangit!
Hey all, there has been a recent discovery where you can clip through breadsticks/locked doors. A major example is level 34.
So my proposal is that the current Any% category is renamed to "Any% Glitchless", and a new category is created for runs that make use of this glitch.
I'd love to see some other runners' thoughts on this. :D Thanks!
edit: thx patrick for updating categories. i'll keep this post up still
Hey, there is a discord server for n++ which includes a channel for speedrunning. There is also some useful info in the pinned messages, and you can ask as many questions as you'd like.
