I've recently finished my first run and "mostly" finished up my note-taking for the Any% category as it is currently routed and based on Metsa's current WR as it stands. If anyone is interested in them, please feel free to check them out here! - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BNl9Aw3pXQC0fKgWiyL3iMjv-bOVQC0yyUnG0eTUzU4/edit?usp=sharing
They're not perfect and go into too much detail, but they're tailored to how I learn speedruns, which is generally in excess. Hope these help in case anyone is interested in learning the game and wants notes way too in-depth!
I recently tried to set up the Load Remover and set my comparison to game time, as well as added another timer for RTA so there's the difference. I cannot get it to work, there's no delay or pause of game loads. Can anyone assist with this? This is my first time doing a Load Remover, but I've done AutoSplitters before, so I'd like to think I'm not stupid when it comes to doing this sort of thing, but I'm really struggling here. I already had Palmer trying to assist me to no avail and was wondering if someone else had used the LoadRemover directly enabled in LiveSplit as well. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Edit: Palmer let me know this is an ongoing issue with the newest patch to the game and is currently being looked into. I'll update this again if I hear anything else!
Dunno if anyone is still active on this game, but I think next week I'm going to start running this. I'll use this time to study the current route and make splits, then see if we can do anything to optimize it further! Maybe we can even get sub 3 Hours with the PS4 version. Here's hoping and happy running!
I've been watching runners a lot recently like Bawkba and Carcinogen and really wanted to try my hand at all this speed running. After talking with a lot of streamers and such, I've decided to run Resident Evil 2 - PC, as most were saying it's relatively new runner friendly. I've never run any games before, but I'm definitely looking forward to trying a lot of this out! I was looking to try out Leon A to start and see how it goes before I make any bigger decisions, but I really love the Resident Evil franchise. Hope to get along with you guys and the like. I'll have to download some splits software soon so I can start practicing runs!
