Oh man that is amazing. I will note that the default settings on the mmr:de version is faster than OG PC version or PS1. I honestly have no idea how to moderate that but it is a nice pace on the remake, if i get around to a full run i'll definitely use that.

You can see in deathpony run at the start instead of jumping on the top after getting the super jump he goes back down a level and jumps on ramp up- . Have fun!

Hey, i had totally forgotten about this. I actually just got this on PS1 shockingly and i think there is only one speed. maybe thats the fix - PC you can do whatever speed you can, ps1 has one speed? I'm cool with anything tbh

I'm thinking about trying my hand at this old game from my past but I noticed that you can run the game at a faster speed than normal if you are capable. I'll br playing at normal speeds thanks to nostalgia but I could imagine people going faster with the fast specs. Would it be a good idea to add a different category for normal speed and any speed? Just a thought.

Yes, you do need to use a save file set to 5-5 for this trick. I do wish we had another way to skip parts of the game. For now its the only way we know to skip levels like that. It skips about half the game. There isn't a really good guide for it yet because we don't exactly understand it. I can tell you that you need version 1.1 of the game for the trick to work in my tests. I hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
