I was thinking about this recently and decided to ask you guys about it, so be sure to let me know what your thoughts are on this. Also, there's going to be a poll running in the Discord, so be sure to check that out and vote there if you can so I get get the best possible idea of what your guys' opinions are. To be clear, this is not something that we are currently planning on doing and is just an idea at the moment.
What this will entail is the deletion of the VIP leaderboards and the moving of all applicable VIP runs to the current Public server categories. EXISTING RUNS IN VIP WILL STAY ON THE LEADERBOARD AND NOT BE DELETED UNLESS THEY VIOLATE CURRENT RULES! Also, there will be an annotation next to platform to still differentiate between Public and VIP server runs as we believe while they may not be different enough to warrant different categories, they should be labeled differently due to being different server types.
The reasons for potentially implementing such a change are as follows:
- Runs in Public and VIP servers are essentially the same, the only difference being weather or not randoms can join. The issue comes from the fact that simply filling up a server with friends is essentially the same thing as a VIP server run, making VIP server runs no different to some Public server runs.
- There is no clear way to differentiate between Public and VIP server runs. So the only way for us to know for sure a run was submitted under the wrong category is the runner confirming after the fact.
- As of right now VIP server is hardly even run. In the past year, there have only been 14 VIP server runs compared to 372 Public server runs with no VIP server runs altogether in the past 3 months with the last verified VIP server runs having been done in early June. And, only 22 out of the current 102 possible categories actually have runs in them, leaving over 75% percent of VIP leaderboards completely empty.
Again, this is just me trying to gauge what you guys think. This is only an idea at the moment and there will be no such changes to the leaderboard unless there is a clear community concenous on integrating the 2 categories.

Library and Airport are both getting leaderboard resets. This is due to the changes to both maps being run changing enough to warrent a leaderboard reset. (Library got completely remade and Airport got a new room, new freezing chambers, a new pc location, and more)
If you have any runs from before the update you still want to submit, I'll give you guys a week to do so as I recognize this was kinda sudden even with me hinting at this and talking about it for the past few days.
I'm just starting on this now, so it may take a bit to fully move all the old runs to old.
TLDR / Summary:
I'm a Super mod and need advice on what to do about 2 other inactive super mods in a game I mod.
Full version:
I'm a Super Mod of Roblox: Flee the Facility and I'm looking for advice on what to do about 2 other super mods that are inactive. The mods in question are named Otterstone_Gamer and Pyridium. Just to clarify, the other 2 mods (PrinceMinewalker and SpeedGlitchedTrevor) are active and verify runs on a regular basis.
Pyridium used to be an active runner but has never done a single thing as moderator, hasn't logged on in 4 months, and hasn't speedrun the game in 2 years.
Otterstone only seems to have ever done 2 runs in the game 4 years ago. Also, he hasn't been active in the Flee the Facility community in 2 years (as a runner, on the discord server, or as a mod). Except, Otterstone actually did come back and verify a WR run few months ago, but he failed to recognize that the run in question was not only incorrectly timed but also in the incorrect category and not in fact a WR. Also, he's a mod farmer and mods like 150+ other games (most of which he also ignores).
A couple other mods have messaged them but I never heard back any details about that so I'm assuming they never responded. I would just remove them but I feel like that could potentially cause unwanted drama.
What should I do?
Me and some friends want to run this game, can you give us the ability to add multiple people to friend runs so my friends can get the record too?
I recently got curious and did some testing in a private server with a friend and found a few interesting things.
-Lower ping has longer reach and higher ping has shorter reach. -If two players have the same ping the survivor can be knocked out even though they didn't appear to get hit on either screen. -The e timing skip trick can be done with 2 people and it's really fast, but it's easiest with jumping. -The optimal strat for the e timing skip is crouching while facing away from the computer every 5 seconds.
Nothing too major but I'm sure this will help someone in some way.
I noticed that I submitted a run for VIP server under Abandoned Facility 2 captures yet it is shown under Facility_0. After checking, I have seen that both runs under VIP server --> Beast --> Facility_0 --> 2 captures are labeled wrong and should be under Abandoned Prison instead. I don't actually know if it's possible to move runs (as I'm not a mod on any active games) and also don't know wether or not there's a reason for this (as I think I'm relatively new to this community). There may be more mislabeled runs but I am not able to check if this is the case as of yet as I'm supposed to be working on english homework rn. I wish you all the best of luck in getting WRs. Also I'm happy to see new (recent) runs are being uploaded now and wish the best of luck to these new runners as well.
I know this probably wont be of much issue in the future but apparently the Lobby song for flee the Facility is Copyrighted. So I would recommend not monetizing any videos with the lobby music in them. The song in question is this one with some of the sounds removed - (while this probably won't prove to be a problem in the future I just thought I'd put it here in case this ends up being an issue)

I got this world record run but I started filming late , I am wondering if the run is invalid due to starting filming late. I didn't want to submit if it is invalid and just wanted to make sure.
