Thank you guys for the kind words. I think this is an interesting project. How optimized can each level get without framerules? I'd love to see someone, much more skilled than me, make a TAS of this rom. I'm thinking the perfect run would be sub 4:30. I haven't done any math but that's just my guess.
I think there is real potential for FFPG in every level. There HAS to be a way to hit the bottom of the flagpole just right. I don't think anybody really hunts for it anymore.
Get your fast accels out! There are no frames to spare. No more framerules. No more barriers. I have painstakingly modified the assembly code and remove all end level timers and change area timers.
