quite a lot of runners use AutoSizer, which is basically the same thing (achieves the same end result), so yeah, it's allowed.
The automash mod probably changes the memory addresses of the things the autosplitter uses, and therefore it doesn't work
I'll have to fix that when I get the chance. :)
@Blikke That's outdated. The autosplitter is built into LiveSplit. All you need to do is go in LiveSplit, type Undertale in the game name section, and press the Enable button in the autosplitter section.
Yep, in fact audio isn't required at all, so it's absolutely fine :)
What's next? Nestopia makes the emulator closed-source and includes TAS functionality in their releases?
It only takes one change to the licensing or source code for Nestopia for all reputable NES emulators to be banned.
Click the + button in the Discord app and paste in the link, it should work if you do that.
You have to have Undertale disconnected from Steam. To do that, delete steam_api.dll in the folder which your Undertale exe file is located (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Undertale)
There is a way using the steam console, but iirc it requires changing a value in memory/hex editing.
The patch is 100% recommended though, because it eliminates the need for HxD or Cheat Engine
@shovelclaws What do you expect? Game mods don't get paid or anything like that, so why should people who publish to community news get anything?

Consult changes with the wider speedrunning community. This update is ass.

Speedrun is the activity, you cannot claim an activity. God forbid you trademark it or some wack stuff like that
@akane174 It's not. If it was, it would have been done by now.
