Wii U VC should be added as a separate category. "emulator" on this website refers to unofficial emulators such as VBA or Bizhawk, while Wii U VC is an official emulator released by Nintendo, which warrents an official category.

Is there any estimate on when the schedule will be out?

Misc Categories: -Any% No 0HP No Drop No Soul -100% Souls -"True 100%" (100% Souls + Map + All Items) -No Out of Bounds? -RBO? Though I think RBO is too difficult to so in an RTA run so probably not.

I'm looking for 1-2 people to be on the couch for Four Swords Adventures. I'd prefer someone who has a solid basis of Zelda speedrunning or is someone I know kinda well.

I am for adding this category, but only if it is delegated to a Misc. Category.

Glim, they were not intended, I won't deny that. What I'm saying is that the glitchless category is NOT a "play the game as intended" category, it's play the game without glitches, and jumping or backdashing is clearly not a glitch, so these sequence breaks should be allowed.

I think entering floating garden using double jump and backdash+jump to get to unintended places should be absolutely allowed in glitchless. Glitchless =/= Skipless, skips and sequence breaks should be allowed so long as they do not use any unintended things in the game.

Obviously shop glitch will be banned too, so the category should only ban shop glitch and zips imo.

You can do this in settings if you're a mod. I just think it would be easier to find the page if we did this.

I'm sorry, what I meant to say was make the category that is now "Soma Any% HP0 Glitch" just "Soma Any%" It's the fastest run is it should just be called any% imo

I agree with this split. However, why not change the name of "Any% No 0HP Glitch" to just any%?

Alright, so we've gotten some questions about fanmade levels and we've come to a consensus.

If you want a fanmade level to be put on the leaderboards, message me, abex, or mobiusman, you can find our info in our profiles. We can add the game as a romhack.

There's only one condition: To add a game to the leaderboards it should be something that you are working on improving. If you plan on doing one run of a knytt level please don't request that it be added to the leaderboards.

Thinking about it, it isn't that big of a deal to add a game as a romhack, I'd be happy to add any level that you're doing speedruns of.

So it looks like it's been decided that the other Nifflas Levels will be moved to ILs (which I can do), and that any fanmade levels will be put into romhacks.

The only thing I want to say is that I don't think we should add a romhack for something that you want to run like, once, and then be done with. If we want to add something to the leaderboards it should be something that you're working on, not just a one time "speedrun".

But yeah, I'm happy with this change.

The Machine and all of it's categories are the main speedruns of Knytt Stories. When you download the game the only thing you have (other than the tutorial) is The Machine. The Machine should NOT be in the levels leaderboard, it should be the main leaderboards with everything else on either level leaderboards or "romhack" leaderboards. This is the most important thing I think I can say.

In my opinion, we should put the Nifflas levels in the levels leaderboard like Abex suggested, but then leave the romhacks section to levels that get competitive or noteworthy.

If you want to run other Knytt Levels, that's fine, but I don't think they belong on these leaderboards if only 1 person (or ever 2) is running them.

I'll be honest here. In my opinion there are too many Knytt Levels for it to be worth it to have them on speedrun.com.

If there's one that gets competition or is noteworthy (Don't Eat the Mushroom being the best Example), then it can be added.

But for now I don't think it's worth the time and effort to add any knytt level that someone does a speedrun off to the leaderboards. Sorry.

Maybe Abex + Mobiusman feel differently, but that's how I feel.
