I think that instead of All Missions being the default category, the default category should be All Normal Missions, since it has a run and no one's really considered doing an All Missions or 100 % run...
Hey guys! This just in: the scrapped Time Trial mode for Mater-National will be with a new release of the Hi-Octane mod, so we will add that to the leaderboards. It will be a "best lap" kind of thing where you can submit a video of you doing it and you can use it. We need to fix the "infinite" race issue, but we will be able to do that eventually.
Hey DreamSeeker, I was going to do a run of this game soon to get it up here, but I guess you didn't see that message on the Cars series forum in time? Oh well, either way can you please make me a moderator? I want to make sure that this game doesn't just go away since after the game has been on the site for a week with no progress on it it will disappear, and it doesn't look like you're having a lot of time to make progress on it.
Hey guys, I just wanted to let you all know that I will more than likely record a level run in Cars 3: Driven to Win to get a leaderboard up for the game as well as add it to this series, so don't worry about getting a video immediately.
Hey guys, I wanted to discuss something I found over on the Pikmin Wikia. Apparently, there is a glitch that allows a day to go on for as long as you like. If you switch captains on the last frame of the day, it apparently will cause the day to not end until you switch back to the original captain the day was supposed to end with. I don't even know how it works or if there's a way to make it optimal if it does work since it sounds VERY precise, but I still wanted to discuss this with you guys.
Hey -Star_Fox-, I was wondering if I could talk with you on speedrunning this game on PC. Right now I am testing out the skips you use, and so far I have come across a couple of cut scenes which crash the game upon trying to skip them. I am seeing if letting them play out will help, but it seems that the PC version acts much differently than the Wii version.
Hey, I wanted to ask if there would be any IL leaderboards for Race-O-Rama, because I wanted to compete a lot in ILs. I can't do full-game, single segment runs because I don't have a good capture card for my TV. However, I will say that I will gladly participate in ILs if you guys make a leaderboard for ILs.
Ishkabob, where is your video for your run? The link you give leads to your channel and then I don't see a run video when I look at your videos. I'm afraid I need a video for your run to stay up here, otherwise it will be taken down. Also you will need to submit to All Any % as well when you give me your video.
Hey DreamSeeker, I am in need of speaking with you about Mater-National, but I wanted to see if you would respond to this.
Here is the thread where I can give tips about how to be faster in Cars: Mater-National. Post any questions about what you want to learn or just something you would like to know about the game to help with going faster.
Koalaz, I would like it if you would record your run again. I think that's unfair that your recording software crashed during the run, so I would like it if you would record your run again sometime. You don't have to do it immediately, but I would like it sometime soon. I want to have a video, though, because it's required for a run.
Hey guys! I wanted to create a discussion about something I found in the video game: possible glitchless "skips." See, the reset system is VERY finicky. You can actually manipulate it to reset you very, and I mean VERY, far ahead of where you were at, almost five seconds ahead on certain courses! But first I wanted to see discussion about how to trigger it and whether to consider this a glitch or not. I personally do not think that it is because of the fact that the reset system was programmed like that possibly for the younger audience to easily stay caught up in certain areas, but what do you guys think?
Hey guys. I know that the current route guide posted has the blue team as the quote-unquote "fastest time" in it, but I thought that it really did not matter what team you picked, because the minigames are random except for zone challenges, I didn't really notice a difficulty curve from any team to another team, and menu inputs are just based on how fast you can be. Am I right or not?
Hey guys. I just wanted to share something I found recently on my Cars Video Game. So, if you're on one of the Piston Cup races, you know that you have to do pit stops because of the meter right? Well with what I just found, you won't have to do that anymore. What you do is when on a turn, you want to use your tilt a lot to take the turn which not only allows you to skip having to get a pit stop, but it also keeps your speed up close to 200 mph so it can reach that speed easier. I even managed to get to 201 and I think even 202 mph even because of what I found. The only downside is that this doesn't work on Smasherville due to the degree of slope the track has. Instead it makes the meter go down faster, which I would go ahead and do as much of just to get the pit stop done faster.
Hey guys, I'm Puffjak8, the moderator of the Cars: Mater-National leaderboard, and I would like to request that the game be added to this series, please.
Hello. I am the moderator of this game. I am here to help you learn some new tips and tricks to help you out. So, this post will be about what the best route (in my opinion) is that is the fastest for 100 % categories without using the teleporting ability of the map:
- Radiator Springs Circuit (Required to be first. Otherwise run will not be accepted.)
- Rhythmic Rumble 1-7
- Big and Strong Again (Turning McQueen into a monster truck by looking for parts.)
- Relay Race 1
- Filmore's Nature Preserve
- North Willy's Butte
- Race n' Chase 1-3
- Fuel Frenzy 1-3
- I Wanna Be a Monster Too (Turning Mater into a monster truck with a metal detector. Use immediately when you start the event, then just keep using it right after you collect a piece.)
- Waypoint Race 1
- Stadium Race 1
- Last Laugh 1 and 2
- Last Laugh 3 and 4 (Radiator Springs)
- Tractor Tipping 1-3
- Ghosting Mater 1-7
- Rustbucket Race 1-4
- Waypoint Race 2
- Ornament Valley Airport
- Inside the Turkey
- Relay Race 2
- Rustbucket Grand Prix
- Fuel Frenzy 4-6
- Race n' Chase 4-6
- Stadium Race 2
- Last Laugh 5 and 6
- Waypoint Race 3

- The Upper Mine
- Relay Race 3
- Canyon Run
- Fuel Frenzy 7-9

- I Wanna Be a Monster Too (Turning Mater into a monster truck)
- Stadium Race 1
- Rustbucket Race 1-4
- Ornament Valley Airport
- Inside the Turkey
- Relay Race 2
- Rustbucket Grand Prix

Hey guys, I am about to start running this game, but I need to know if there are any differences I should concern myself with, regarding the American Wii version of the game. It's the version I own and plan to speed run, and I know there are a few differences, but not many game changing, unless there's something I need to know? Just thought I'd ask.
Hello. My name is Puffjak8. I would like to start running this game on All Fruits category, but all I have to record is a 3DS XL which can only record up to ten minutes max. Instead of making one whole video, would a playlist on YouTube be allowed, showcasing multiple parts?
