Yea, I dont mind having that glitch in there, I iust thinking collecting the trading items will be a more enjoyable run. Im not too fond of glitches haha

Sorry if this question is asked a lot, I am just trying to do the bow wow skip (the one where you hold a cucoo and get eaten by the orange thing to be flung in the air and on top of the trees) but I just can't seem to get it.

The few times I did manage to get it, I lost my shield in the process, but I see it is possible to perform it and also not have the shield eaten.

I'm guessing I am missing an input somewhere, right now I'm just standing in the spot while holding a cucoo and nothing else.

Couldn't find anyone explaining it anywhere so I would love some help!

I had an idea for a new category extension for Link’s Awakening (2019), and I wanted to share it here to hear some thoughts about it.

So the category is called boomerang%, which basically your goal is to collect the boomerang. I think this would be a fun little category since all you have to do is complete the trading line in order to get the lens and the boomerang. I don’t think any of the other categories complete the trading line so I think that’s quite unique.

I would love to hear your thoughts about this!

I have made some slight modifications to the general rules of the game.

One is the timing for 2P or 3P runs. Another change is that it is now mentioned in the rules that the level must fully load before you can move. It was not mentioned before and has always been a rule.

Hi! I'll address all the points you mentioned.

• I have made some modifications to the rules, they were quite weird. Hopefully they are better now.

• About no trio, I believe there is absolutely no reason to add it unless a lot of people want it. This game isn't a popular game on speedrun.com and will probably remain as such, so I don't think trios is even a consideration in the near future.

• If I rejected any of your runs, it was because they violated any of the rules, it does not have anything to do with your status.

• Glitches will remain banned. There is no question about that. About adding a separate leaderboard for glitches to be allowed is fine, but I have no knowledge of any glitches the game has. If you do please enlighten me.

1. No, it is not necessary to show the learning games. It is only necessary if you do them while doing the speedrun (this happens only in the first shield if im not mistaken) for all other shields, you can complete as much as you'd like before even starting the run!

2. i had no idea those commands existed and they seem pretty cool. could you send me an example video of you using them so i can make a decision?

3. that's awesome! of course you can do that. again, i had no idea.

4. yes you can be anywhere in the beginning
