Figured I'd list out all the world magic and what they look like for ease of reference. Ordered left to right on the UI (if only things were WUBRG...)
===Active Use - Risks an amulet every use===
Black - Deck with Cards Being Drawn - Conjurer's Will - 400g Edit deck out in the open
Blue - Jumping Guy - Leap of Fate - 300g Teleport to random location
Green - Winged Sandals - Quickening - 300g Double your land speed
Red - Magic Staff - Thunderstaff - 500g Kill the closest creature
White - Sword - Sword of Resistance - 400g Teleport to a town under siege
====Always On====
Deck Being Shuffled - Slight of Hand - 500g Switch Ante once before duel
Stack of Gold Coins - Haggler's Coin - 500g Increases number of cards sold in Towns/Villages
Dragonfly - Amulet of Swampwalk - 150g Move faster in swamps
Spellbook - Tome of Knowledge - 400g Increases amount of duplicates allowed for each card by one
Carved Apple - Fruit of Sustenance - 300g Gain food in forests
Pickaxe - Dwarven Pick - 150g Move faster in mountains
Ruby Ring - Ring of the Guardian - 600g Wizards need to capture 5 towns/villages to win
=-=-=-=-=-=-
If you stumble on them, Pickaxe and Dragonfly are super useful and cheap (150g)
Something I taught kingsaluman today - you can turn off the coin flip animation by right clicking the field in a duel, go to Duel Options, and uncheck it. There's a few other settings in there (turning off cue cards for one), but that's the big one.
hah yea, I ended up making a Win7 VM (couldn't get 98 or 95 to work properly) and capturing that, which seems to work fine at the moment....now I'm just running into the game hanging constantly when I go into the "random events" on the map. I think I need to do a little more research into getting this thing running before I ask silly questions that can be answered by searching :)
Appreciate the help!
Hey all,
trying to figure out how to get this to run in a window to make it easier to stream. I'm using the 2010 edition version off archive.org, and even running it through DXWnd it keeps forcing itself to fullscreen seemingly no matter what settings I try.
And when I say "full screen", the game just swaps my screen's rez to 1024x768 at the menu and then only takes up a corner of the screen (640x480 I'd guess?) when in the actual game.
Has anyone had any luck? Or, any tips to make it easier for streaming?
