A few questions for the moderators.

1. Under what category do i submit my completed run? Im running the ps4 version of the game on my PS5

2. Is there a list of recommended splits to track?

3. Any advice for guides and tutorials or are the forums here the most up to date?

Hey.

1: It depends on the category you've run (i.e. Any%, 100%, etc.), then select PS4 as the platform. So far console and PC runs share a leaderboard for the remastered version of the game.

2: That's entirely up to you. Some people split on level transitions, some people prefer the finer granularity of splitting at every blue portal (both of these options should be available with the autosplitter). You can come up with your own if you like, such as splitting at every key, but it's your choice depending on what information you're looking for.

3: These forums aren't often frequented, but the Discord channel is active and has all of the latest tech. If you look at the current record you'll see a lot of tricks that don't appear in many of the online tutorials. I believe Mibz's speedrunning wiki has the most up to date information about routes and tricks and can be found here:
