i said it best in the video description, so i'll just copy that here:

i always hesitate to call something "the god run", but in my estimation, this run is very, VERY good.

first try lever, easy-to-avoid mario rng in the maze room, no major mistakes. worst screw-up in my opinion was accidentally going the wrong way at the start of the tombs split, but i think that only cost me a second at most since i caught it really quickly. there's always one silly mistake lmao

shortly before this run i had another run that i invalidated at the last second by not forcing the gold toilet statue to appear before i went to the end room, which meant the game didn't count me as getting the best ending. it all played out the same but i don't think that's a valid run. in any case, that run was also a 31:38, but this one was about half a second faster. given that it takes like a second at least to make the gold toilet statue show up, and i messed up by not doing that in the previous run (which technically saved time over doing it properly). so this run being faster even though that part took slightly more time indicates to me that the quality of this run is higher. which is good because if the invalid run were a little better it would annoy me slightly :^)

while going the wrong way before tombs does annoy me a little, like i said, there's always one silly mistake. given how memorisation-heavy this run is, and how difficult it is to do everything right even with notes, i'll take it lol. i'm looking on the bright side. this run is really good.
