one of the top speedrunners actually bothered to inspect the run for himself on behalf of people who should actually do it, and we are deeply sorry for that inconvenience and hope it won't happen again.
The video was most probably edited, either adding a start of a normal run continued with an accelerated beginning later, or by cutting a few frames at the start (and possibly somewhere else). The suspect was presented with evidence before me and apparently promptly deleted the video, presumably admitting to the accusations.
Under this information, it was necessary to remove the speedrun from the leaderboard either way. Thank you
Also, I only privates it because I was about to remove it myself bc I was ashamed of cheating it. I didn’t know this happened until afterwards.
All I did was speed it up in cheat engine by 1.07 and nothing else. I didn’t change the audio at all or edit in in any way.
Idk what went over me to do it, and I was going to make a video myself saying why I removed it and how I cheated it, but now it feels like it would be useless for me to do it.
I’m sorry.
Decided to come back to tell yall that i didn't actually get a message about the whole cheated record thing. I just deleted it bc i didn't feel like it should've been back up.
