Has anyone considered timing this game in IGT it’s pretty easy to add since it tells you and it would resolve the problems of load times from console differences and the 3 star firework time loss. Just saying that you should consider it if you haven’t already.
We had a mini discussion about it a while ago and the main reason for not having one is it would just be playing every IL. plus since it uses IGT character swaps dont count to the timer and in theory the best strat would be to have like 10 lightcores and 5 winged boots. so it would just make the game less fun and more pay 2 win
In my opinion if the ingame timer counted swaps the game would be way better. btw part of the fun in routing RTA runs is seeing if switching characters saves enough time to be worth the 3-5 second swap
By community vote and due to unpopularity, the subcategory split dividing ASL runs using one controller from those using two controllers has been removed. In its place, a "Single Controller ASL" category has been added to the Extensions board, and the three runs in the Single Controller subcategory
