Hey everyone,

I've been wondering if there's a trick to make Gator Steaks drop. Last time it took me 15 minutes or so to get both of them. The drop chance seems pretty abysmal in speedrunning terms.

Is that part of the game just RNG hell, or is there something to it?

Literally kill them with fire as hinted at by the NPCs (only the killing blow needs to be fire) and they will drop gator steaks 100% of the time.

They have 30 health, so you can do 5 hair whips for 5 damage each and then finish them off with fireballs. This saves time and magic.
