This route uses the Early Hot Shelter route, originally discovered by SQeefy for use on the Dreamcast (NTSC/PAL) version. Due to the GameCube's much slower loads and soft-resets, it ends up being faster to not do Trial Mode Glitch, and instead clearing out the story flags via linear progression. Doing Hot Shelter early like you would in Glitched Route also cuts off a lot of hub world movement in the Egg Carrier.
This time still can go much lower but for now I am pleased with this. 12 will come some day, but for now I think it's time to pack away the Wii again.
