The next fucking heathen to upload a level run with the in-game time is getting fucking slaughtered.
You could really use any timer you wanted to, like the one on the Clock app, the built in Google one, etc. You can time runs after you record them, so any method of doing so would be fine, just as long as it isn't the in-game time presented.
For android i only know a app it is called floating speedrun timer but i don't know it it is for iOS
You technically don't even need a timer for the IL runs; just take the IGT and add 0.5 seconds for every flip you do. EZ Clap
Who came up with the brilliant idea not to use the in-game time?
Rider is all about those flips, why take that away?
Well basically because the essence of speedrunning is to finish a game as fast as possible, so it's actually not that interesting to use mechanics that lower your time... Without flips it's pure legit speedrunning. Imagine a racing game where drifting slows down the timer, your time at the finish line would be pointless, because it wouldn't be your actual time! Well same here with flips
