First of all is the recoil cancel. By switching shoulder you can cancel the recoil animation of a weapon and shoot with no cooldown. This is especially useful with slow fire rate weapons such as shotguns or sniper rifles. An alternate way to do it is to switch weapons. This is more precise and more useful with a magnum for instance.

Then is the stumble skip. Sometimes the game will make your character stumble, but it can't if you are in a middle of a roll or a slide. It's also possible to skip cutscenes where your scharacter is picking up a key by picking up the key during a slide.

These are the main tricks that you can use in any run of resident Evil 6. Try to use the recoil cancel as much as possible and to save shotgun shells only for this purpose.
