I finally got it! Pnaha's world record in this category felt unachievable for so long. It's a year and a half old. I didn't see myself reaching it. That was until I got my strong WoW Grand Master world record that proved what I was capable of. So I decided to return to Maximum and push to my limits.

This took 4 grind sessions, the 3rd of which was 11 hours long... I would keep getting runs that were on WR pace, but then I'd make brutal run killing mistakes. 1 run it was the penultimate challenge, the 400k on 1-3. Another run it was the final level of the final challenge, the half-decathlon. These runs dying at the final challenges were so devastating. I was given the fair advice of reorganising my challenge order, but I had this order burnt into my memory, that it felt optimal for me. After the crushing failure of the 11 hour grind, I had to stop doing the grind online and decided for the first time in quite a long time, I would do some offline runs. And.. it worked. In less than 2 hours, I PB'd, then PB'd again with this WR run.

Not a lot to say about the run itself, I did very well. Full clears and aces done in a solid time, challenges done in a very solid time, including an almost 4:00 half-decathlon. The only time save left at this point is just being a bit quicker at the full clears and aces in Any%, which there are plenty of variables that could impact that, as well as needing to do all 10 levels perfect, then 10 challenges perfect back-to-back . Also, it definitely seems like doing 1-5 in Any%, with 3 resets to get max microzen is the play. It's hard to tell sometimes microzen is there but there's definitely some help from it, which is important for this run. But yeah, an awesome WR to achieve! Sub-30 is doable if someone's cracked enough at full clears but I don't think I have it in me.

Also, leaving in the extended time after the run I just sit thinking and typing, as well as dancing a bit because of how happy I was to finally get this.
