Even if you're not participating be sure to tune in May 3rd to May 5th to see the most hype anime game speedrun moments at ASF! Be sure to follow the Youtube as it will be streaming live there as well https://www.youtube.com/@animespeedruns
Running this game on PAL (European) versions is much slower than running the Japanese version of the game.
The European version loads much slower and runs at a slower frame rate entirely, 25 Frames per second. The Japanese version runs at 30 frames per second, which also naturally decreases the load time.
If you are going to run this game, especially on emulator, I highly recommend running the Japanese version. You do not need to understand any of the Japanese language to play through the game at all except for difficulty selection. Directions are given for proper difficulty selection in the rules for each category, in case you can't read the difficulties in JP.
Since I've seen a lot of new runs come in, I wanted to share this information for any new and future runners of the game. Let me know if you have any questions!
