After the player jrjrdy16 ahieved 5,1 seconds on the build "OMG Nature!" and achieving 7 cps, I feel like starting this thread of the worldrecord on the most cps in a build. Well, it is officially open. I obviously checked the cps for every build there was, and the closest was Soul vs Gravel with 6,97 cps so jrjrdy16 was the first player to achieve over 7 cps. Here's the updated table of the Cps worldrecords:

I don't know if this would work as an individual leaderboard or with leaderboards since some people use different techniques, which lead to more blocks placed/not placed making it honor system unless you have a video.

Strategies matter, but for a lot of the high cps builds we use the same or similar strategies. Its not an honor system at all imo. Regardless of what strategy you use for nature, soul vs gravel, the flags, etc. its still non-stop clicking... (Obviously there are pauses for turning around and such, but that's besides the point.)

You'd also need the block count for each build to derive it, but aside from that everything so far is true. I don't plan on adding a leaderboard for it because of both the hassle of submitting records there and the low amount of information it gives.

What I mean is that you would place more blocks in the build sometimes. We all know that stairs of obsidian is 4 blocks in total, but it takes a total of 8 block places (including block breaks) for the fastest strategy. Everyone has different strategies, therefore some might have more block places, and what if someone misplaces a block? That would have to be accounted for too. B/s leaderboard would need a video to count the about of blocks you placed before a perfect build. That is what by honor system, which I would be fine with to a certain degree, but it needs video, not a screenshot.

I never said anything about a leaderboard, because I know we already have the information????

I know that not every build can be achieved to 7 cps, like the one Nrrillinthas mentioned about stairs of obxidian or Here there be monsters where the clicks is more than twice the amount of elements (blocks, mobs, etc). I just simply thought the idea of leaderboard will encourage people to take the challenge for the only few exceptional builds like Soul Vs Gravel or Omg Nature. Maybe I should of been more clear.

I would like to lock this forum considering it had become dead at this point and I felt like it's quite useless. I'm pretty sure everyone would agree on that lol

We could continue tracking this, I guess. "Mozarts was a bit smaller..." in 9.0 makes a 2nd build with 7 cps, but I don't find this data set particularly interesting.
