So, I've been able to recreate this bug a couple times. one on creeper woods and a couple on obsidian pinnacle. What I did is i got the shadow hood item and used it while rolling/piston jumping in mid air, usually above a death pit, if the shadow form runs out while your mid-air (or in creeper woods about to land) you'll freeze mid air, I used this to cheese the final boss. Its really useful to do in co-op cause then you can teleport to a partner out of the glitch, I cheesed the final boss in single player once and had to wait about a minute or so to finally fall and re spawn.
That glitch may be useful in Adv% and Apoc% (More in Apoc%) as it'll make the bosses go by faster and easier
