So I'm a pretty amateur runner who can get times around 30 mins on really good seeds. What tactics should I invest in learning? I only know blaze bedding and bastion routing.
cod strats, use wood for any blocks (they are the fastest to get), dont take more than 8 hay blocks, learn eray, stronghold, and fortress navigation. (idk im not that good)
if u are cutting wood, only take the bottom 2 blocks then head hitter jump to the next tree idk its fast
Don't take more beds than you need from villages, you'll usually get lots of string from a bastion and if you don't you can shear sheep. I usually only take 2-4 beds unless there's like 2 hotels next to eachother or something.
Just going to be honest, its kinda 90% the seed, and 10% things you start doing from experience such as grabbing 1-2 beds from a village only cause you know how to 4 bed, or routing a bastion faster because you've practiced and done it a lot before. Knowing how to entity ray and find lava using c counter, pie ray for fortresses for faster resets.
Triangulation and 4,4 chunk coords, starter staircase 5 room rule help for stronghold timesaves. Fortress in the good parts (blaze spawner sections) you can usually do headhitters by spamming blocks under you.
Throw pearls if you have extra, thats something to remember if you got a decent bastion. There's some more but I probably do them more unconscious so I can't really think of them right now.
c counter means nothing
c counter is
chunks loaded/chunks that can be loaded (by your render distance)
