Hello everyone
I‘m new here and looking to start speedrunning some PoC. A few things that I‘m stillwondering and couldn‘t find any answers in the rules:
- There aren‘t any runs yet for the Full Campaign (2.0) catergory, is there a reason for this?
- Does Full Campaign refer to doing (winning) all the Adventures in a row displayed on the right? Including the ones that were added later (Kai‘Sa, Thresh, Asol)?
- Individual Adventures that are part of a Champion‘s story are not part of it I presume?
- Is it allowed to do them in any order?
- Time starts when moving to the first power on the first adventure and ends with killing the last Boss Encounter (I‘m assuming the Viktor part is outdated)?
- Do I have to use the same champion with the same setup for all of them or can I switch champs and/or Relics between Adventures?
Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out with these :)
Hey,
Currently we're waiting to see if riot will stop adding more non champion specific adventures before allowing runs on the leaderboard as we would have to legacy every run that's done every time they add another adventure.
If they stop adding adventures and signal that hey, we're not adding more adventures, we'd allow runs where you use the same champion with the same setup for all adventures.
I mean, let‘s hope they don‘t stop, but why not make that different „patches“ instead?
It‘s been a year since Asol was released, hopefully Freljord will come some day, but they just added Weekly Adventures and now the Monthly ones, so unlikely that that‘s gonna happen anytime soon.
So I can do and time a full run but switch items and champs in between Adventures based on your answer?
No, I specifically mentioned you have to use the same champion with the same setup for all adventures.
I also want to add that while we'd love to speedrun what is currently live, making multiple tabs for every (other) patch tends to not only clog up the leaderboard, but also makes it impossible for other people to participate in the exact same run or the state the run was in. Since the game isn't a super popular speedrunning game, it would leave multiple tabs rather empty as well.
Like Zrightning already said, we would have to abandon them again and again and create more legacy tabs.
Feel free to run the current campaigns and maybe share them in the Discord. You can still run it without having to have a leaderboard in place. This way maybe other people will get more interested and we'd have a better reason to add more categories to the leaderboard.
Since Riot took a fair amount of Challenges away from us, I archived them for the time being. If they ever bring them back we can unarchive them again.
Instead I finally added the vs. AI Decks as level runs, if anyone is interested in running them!
