For quite a while now Joel and I have been wanting to move away from RTA to make things more fair between runners (at least on PC), as loads are a huge part of the run and they are highly inconsistent.

SuicideMachine has put together a noloads script and this is now available in the splits editor for LiveSplit. Just click Activate and change your comparison from Real Time to Game Time and you are good to go:

EDIT: So for whatever reason the load remover only works for the Steam version of the game.

i tried a few things, but it just don't work for me (maybe i am just too stupid for it to set up). Here is the things i tried additionally, after i followed the steps mentioned by Seductive Spatula:

• running it as a administrator
• trying out the "Alternate Timing Method" from the LiveSplit Components page
• downloading it again and installing it on the same HDD i am running L.A. Noire on

It seems like it doesn't acknowledge the game at all and i am running out of ideas what i can still do to run it properly.

If anyone encountered the same problems and have a solution for it, i would be really glad if someone can help me. :)

Have you made sure you have changed the comparison from real time to game time?

would you remove loads for me and my family on switch if we did runs on this game? we got 16 people who want to play but board is unfair. can you please help us.

So i saw you did with the 360 run by lazerlong. im buying la noire on ps4 to play on ps5 on christmas time. hopefully you guys will still remove the loads. but we will do the run

So i bought this on pc yesterday and you can see from my patrol desk run that Loads arent being removed with your script by "suicideboy" so is there anyway we can fix the timer? i just removed the loads myself like we would have done the ps4 run or switch runs

That script is unfortunately broken. Try adding this one manually and see if it works.
