You get medals for clearing time/line trials and for beating the game with each character anyways, so there's no need to point it out. Also there are 5 characters btw.
tbh no one runs 100% cause that shit would have 6+ hours doing the same thing over and over again. I might try out a potential "All Main Game Medals" category, though. Sounds interesting enough
I agree that "All Main Game Medals" sounds more entertaining for both the runner and the viewers.
Please elaborate on potential rules for "All Main Game medals". Specifically, what would be left out of a 100% run for this category?
All Main Game Medals would get the 65 Medals scattered throughout the main game. 100% has to collect all (256?) medals, which would include the medals in Rainbow Run, the Sub-games, beating the game with each of the four characters, and from getting a certain distance in the Jump Game after you unlock it.
Time-wise, a standard All MGM run should definitely be under 2 hours. 100% would be at LEAST 6 hours
Tbh in hindsight I'll never seriously run All Main Game Medals. I tried it once but the category can be very unforgiving RTA, since some of the medals, namely the last one in 2-2, requires obtaining on your first try, otherwise you waste several minutes. 100% would be way longer but I mean I could see myself actually doing it since I could finish a run without ripping all my hair out (maybe as a celebration once I break my WR in the next few weeks?). So might as well make them both miscellaneous categories
