Hello, everyone.
Based on the results of the poll in our discord server, it was decided to merge Positive Times and Negative Times into a single category, IGT. Because of that, a flat minute will be added to all IGT times.
We got another IL category — RTA. It uses the same timing as in full game runs. This also means you can now run Tutorial, Mercy and horde levels. Please use the auto splitter for this category.
The rules for full game runs will be updated soon.
Hello, everyone. As most of you may know, there's a lot of unverified runs. I promise they'll be verified but for that I need your attention, please bear with me.
First of all, the game has an auto splitter now, so if you're a full game runner, please use it from now on. Due to full game runs being a combination of ILs, I'll make a category for RTA (LRT) ILs as well, meaning you can run Tutorial, Mercy and Horde levels. Please use the auto splitter for those as well.
Essentially, IGT ILs that we have now have a single category that is divided into 2: Positive Times and Negative Times, because SpeedrunCom isn't designed around negative times. It causes several problems:
#1 Poor readability, because you need to switch between categories to understand the placements
#2 It doesn't show placements correctly, because SpeedrunCom treats them as separate categories and you can have 2 places for one level
#3 The whole thing is visually confusing
#4 It's a bit harder to moderate
There's a lot of submitted IGT level runs and I want to keep them, because the game itself doesn't have an in-game leaderboard.
There's a poll in our discord with new ways to measure IGT that'll fix the problems above, but you can still vote to keep the old method.
