Multiple rickroll submissions pretending to be the record while moderating Superhot .
somebody send in a blantantly spliced run consisting out of my own run and some obsolete runs. He wanted to make a video where he "exposes" the moderator team for accepting it. :kek: We were so focused on the splice that it took me a while to see that he used my run. (ofc the run was never verified)
Roblox games, just any roblox games in general (expect from tower games in the series)
rickrolls, spliced/cheated runs.
Some kid submitted a run where he said "I found a loophole in the rules!!!11!!1!1!!" And the loophole was the rules didn't say you aren't allowed to start the run at the end of the game.
Thing is, the rules specifically say that the timing starts when you spawn in, meaning his "loophole" wasn't even valid.
also rickrolls too ofc
Someone posting my own run (with a link to the video on my channel).
@Merl_ I remember seeing that run. Then the person who submitted it came to the forums acting indignant that it was rejected.
-
Someone submitting like 5 Geometry Dash speedruns that were actually just their own FNAF Let's Plays.
-
Someone cheating a Geometry Dash speedrun by using a no-clip hack (prevents you from dying). Didn't even try to hide it, they just jump through a block and keep going rofl.
-
Someone getting upset at me rejecting their Geometry Dash Levels 1-8 speedrun because they only played levels 1-6. They insisted that a 1-6 category used to exist (it never did).
Probably more but I can't think of any rn.
"@Merl_ I remember seeing that run. Then the person who submitted it came to the forums acting indignant that it was rejected."
uhh no they didn't
you're probably thinking of a different person/run
@Merl_ I was thinking of this run:
https://www.speedrun.com/rbxose/run/me6gn73z
After it was rejected, the runner went to the “Request leaderboard moderation” thread and demanded site intervention in the leaderboard.
Probably a tie between someone submitting a run on Mineplex (Minecraft server) that was the world record recorded using their phone screen recorder, with their own voice overlayed (I believe their YouTube was terminated for this amongst other things).
And it's gotta be April Fools submissions (mainly rick rolls or 999hr inputs), the TABS community really likes them for some reason :)
funniest experience while moderating on sr.c: @Firewall for going to a fmod for smod on a game and when i ask him why he did it he says "i would feel bad without smod"
In New Super Mario Bros. Wii ILs, we use IGT to time them and peoples are timing with RTA... since RTA is going slower than in game time in this game some peoples thinks they got the 1-1 Any% WR but in reality they're at 50th place LUL
Hard to read the rules apparently.
Some idiot submitted a pair of rickrolls to a game I moderate. Which isn't that funny except like, you would think the idiot would look at who mods the game and see that someone of staff mods it before deciding to troll... nah, that would be putting too much faith in humans.
Needless to say, that was a fairly quick ban.
that was a fairly quick ban.
Hab the god of Ban% speedruns Pog
We had someone ask a moderator of Undertale to do a run for them so they can submit it as their own, offering something like $250 to do it.
