Just curios: What makes somebody an "Active Runner?" Are they someone who has ran the game within the past month or so, or somebody who is online right now?
It's definitely someone who has submitted a run within a certain period of time. How long the time is, I'm not sure.
Roughly if they've ran the game within the last 100 days although that Number declines overtime. You see the rounded up Number.
Personally I would prefer for the criteria to be changed, as this does not take into account runners who are actively grinding a game and just cannot PB, which is the case in many optimised games.
In an ideal world I believe that the active runner stats should be taken from the Streams page (Assuming all registered users are indeed appearing on it) and that if your account is detected to be playing a given game, you are considered an active runner of that game.
@Drakodan firdt people would have to learn how to use [nosrl] - plenty of ppl on there who aren't speedrunning.
you don't need to pb to submit. just submit your full runs if you care that much about this number.
"You don't need to PB to submit"
Why would I spend the time to highlight a run that isn't a PB for the sole purpose of submitting, though?
Moderators have enough on their hands verifying PBs, let alone obsolete runs.

I have an update ready to include active streams but it'll need to wait until after AGDQ. In the long run it's possible to keep track of users' stream history.
you don't need to pb to submit.
I strongly recommend you do not do this. It just makes things look messy for both user profiles and the database. At some point I'd like to purge runs submitted that in no manner is a PB, but need to look into it more first.
