Just dusted off my OLLLLLD MacBook Pro 2007. Got a new battery. Updated to EL CAPITAN 10.12. Wondering if SLOBS is possible. I’ve been googling and youtube’ing and have yet to locate an answer. Any help is appreciated.

According to their GitHub page they only support OSX 10.14 and up, so it looks like you'll have to update your OS further if you want to run it.
