The Reddit Dungreed community has been working over the last few months to provide hacks to the game. While the original hacks were egregious and over the top and would not be usable in speedruns there was always the chance someone would create a "tame" version to give themselves the edge in runs.

Now there is a save editor. This means that someone could edit items they have and then perform a "legitimate" run.

Perhaps we should modify the rules for runs so that before the dungeon is entered the runner has to show:

1. How many Aegis they have at the shrine.
2. Their training point allocation at Coblovina.
3. Their character stat screen.
4. Hover over any items in their inventory to show stats.

In this way the character stats and items can be verified for modification before the run begins. This should catch even "subtle" cheaters.
