I've been interested in speedrunning this wonderful game known as Dude Simulator 3, but there's one problem. For whatever reason whenever I'm using Livesplit, it doesn't overlay. How do I resolve this?

In OBS you want to add a Window Source for LiveSplit and overlay it on top of the game. When you see livesplit over the game in a video, it's not ACTUALLY over the game for the runner, its just OBS showing it that way :) Also feel free to join the Discord (the button beneath the follow button) for more help

i just window the game using alt + shift + enter
