This may seem like a noob question. But how would I go about viewing the ID tags of monsters and items in DKC2 while I'm running the game. Is there a specific romhack? or a emulator? All my google searches have come up blank and countless videos show it happening, I just need to know how.

this is awesome, thanks a bunch. I was using snes9x 1.53, and couldn't figure out how to use the lua scripting so I assumed they removed it for that release. I'm downloaded bizhawk, but I'm having extreme lag issues and degraded graphics. Still, its a step in the right direction. because I can see all the info I need.
